Make money on Facebook

"If there's a will there's a way." If we have the determination to do something, we can always find the path or method to do it.

As we all know, Facebook is the number one social networking site right now. Aside from keeping in touch with family, friends and colleagues, do you know that you can also make money through Facebook?

The photo above is my store page in Facebook. I created this page specifically for the items that I want to sell online. It all started as a hobby. I love making handmade accessories for myself and pair them with my outfit and makeup. Friends, relatives and work colleagues noticed and liked my handmade accessories. They ask me to make some for them and boom! I became a businesswoman in an instant. I started earning money from my hobby and that's when I thought of selling them online. And because Facebook is the number one social networking site, I decided to create my first online store and use the Facebook page to build a closer relationship with my audience and customers.

Creating a Facebook page is easy and free. Here's a step-by-step procedure.

1. On you personal home page you will see a little "orange flag" on the left-hand side.
2. Click on the little orange flag
3. You will  see "create a page" on the upper right-hand side.
4. Click and you can now create a page. There are six categories available. All you need to do is choose a category for your page.
5. Choose your Facebook page name and in just a few, you now own a Facebook page! Congratulations!

How to create a Website

Ever wonder how to make a website? Here's an easy step-by-step procedure.

Step 1

Register your domain name. What is a domain name? A domain name is an identification string that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority, or control in the internet. To make it simple, it is actually your website address. For example (www.aheartfulloflove.com), sometimes others call it URL (example: http://bucketofkisses.com).

Step 2

Choose what will be your domain registrar. What is a domain registrar? A domain registrar is an organization or commercial entity designed to provide domain registration service to other companies or individuals that would like to own a particular website address.

The most popular and highly recommended  domain registrar is Godaddy.com.

Step 3

Registration. You will pay the domain registrar a flat fee or monthly fee to keep the name registered, so that no other person is able to acquire the web address.

Step 4

Population. After registration and once you're done purchasing, your domain will be available in less than 24 hrs. This is where the fun begins. You now have a "home" on the internet! Congratulations!

Kid's Clothes For Sale

I checked my son's room today and I felt terrible. His room was jam-packed with big boxes of toys and clothes.  It actually look like a storage room. Though he's already seven, he still sleeps with us (mom and dad) in our room but I never complain (sometimes my husband does). I told my husband to let him be, because I know one day our son will be the one who'll ask for his own privacy.

So, back to his messy room. I finally decided to dispose some of his clothes. Instead of giving them all away just like I used to, I decided to sell them online and maybe one of these days or tomorrow I might sell some shoes and toys too.

Eventful January

The first month of the year has ended pretty fast. I checked my planner and yes, January had been an eventful month for me.

- my family spent a week of vacation in Cavite during the first week of January.
- husband's grandmother passed away.
- my dear mother-in-law had a 2-week vacation with us
- attended Sportsfest in Marist for the 2nd time, my son participated in tug of war and a day after that...
- finally I was convinced by my OB-gyne to undergo excision biopsy
- on the 14th day I underwent excision biopsy at Medical City
- my husband's contract to work abroad has been approved (that means BIG changes, adjustments and another adventure for all of us...time to embrace it...this is what we've been waiting for after all )
-accomplished and submitted all the required docs

extras:

- bought a new pair of ballet flats for only Php 300, original price was Php 899, so its definitely a steal!
- had my follow up check-up with my surgeon
- availed the Php 250 diamond peel promo from Bioessence  while waiting for my boys to get their haircuts done at GQ ( next visit will be on Feb. 10)
- check-up with my OB-gyne
- inventory at Go Shop
- bought a new vacuum cleaner
- had our first Sunday mass at St. Therese Church and will be there again tomorrow

My February has just started and I have a bunch of list already in my planner, so until my next end-of-the-month post! Happy weekend everyone!!! ^_^

Latest Hauls

I gained a few pounds during the past holidays and after my operation. I was not able to workout and only got the chance to exercise yesterday. I had a 2-hour walk at the mall and ended up buying these two... :)

Ipanema wave thong

Payless wedgie shoes

I like that they're very comfy, by the way there's an ongoing sale at Payless but this wedgie shoes that I bought is not on sale. I rarely buy footwear with heels but this pair gives comfort to my feet, I love it!  The other one is Ipanema wave thong premium in silver, I really like its seahorse decoration that sits upon the glossy strap and the waves reminds me of the sea and summer vacation! ^_^

Photo Book in a Snap!

I didn't expect that I would win from Fotosnaps' raffle promo in Facebook, anyhow I'm really happy to receive my first photo book project.  Here it is...

I was surprised when I saw it because it's big! I thought it would be just like a size of a notebook. It's printed on an 8x11 landscape with hard cover and it looks really nice. Thanks so much Fotosnaps for this free photo book. I really like the result, the photos were printed clearly, it's the most important thing next to the cute and colorful templates :)

I highly recommend Fotosnaps, I know there's this other known photo book site that offers big savings & discounts. I got tempted once with the discount, free shipping and all, but only got disappointed with the result  of my first project with them.

Do checkout Fotosnaps here they have an ongoing promo right now with desk calendar, wall calendar and lay flat photo book.

Relive all your favorite moments and create beautiful photo books easily!
